Refer to the application and the university's website for up-to-date program details.

Your High School Grades

If you are a Group A applicant, your current high school provides your academic information, including grades, to the OUAC.

Any grades on file for you will be auto-matched after you submit your application and will continue to be matched as your school updates your grades throughout the school year.

Grades for Courses Taken Outside of Your Home School

If you are taking courses part-time at a school outside of your home school, you are responsible for ensuring that this school submits the course information and all updates to your home school.

You must include the part-time school outside of your home school in the Education section of your application so that the part-time school can provide your academic information to the OUAC.

Upgrading Courses

If you previously graduated and are currently upgrading or taking additional high school credits, your current school must provide these grades to the OUAC.

If you applied to Ontario universities using the OUAC Undergraduate application last year and your current school does not have access to your full academic record, the OUAC will contact you about including the grades on file at the OUAC in your current application. The OUAC will also contact you if we do not have your previous grades on file.

Checking Your Academic Information

Log in to your application 1-2 business days after you submit to check your matched academic information carefully. Inform your guidance counsellor if you find any errors.

After November 7, the OUAC will begin emailing applicants whose grades have not been matched with further instructions for providing academic information.

Applying for Winter Admission

If you are applying for winter admission and cannot see your Academic Information in your submitted application by early November, contact your guidance counsellor.

Requesting Postsecondary Transcripts

You are responsible for arranging the transfer of all postsecondary transcripts from the institution(s) directly to the universities you are applying to, not to the OUAC.
