I’m a Group A applicant taking a summer school course, and my friend is upgrading (or repeating) a course. Will this affect our admission?

If you are a Group A applicant taking a summer school course, the delay in the university receiving your summer school results may affect your admission. If the summer school course you are completing is your sixth 4U/M course, the universities may not offer you admission until this course is completed and they receive your marks.

Note: Some universities do not consider summer school courses.

The Ontario universities support the full disclosure of all marks achieved in all attempts at a high school course. Each university will explain, through its literature, how it intends to evaluate repeated course marks when considering students for admission to a program. For further details, refer to Ontario Universities’ Info or contact the universities directly.
