The OUAC is seeking an Accounting & Payments Generalist to process accounts payable, accounts receivable, applicant payments and contribute to the finance department’s operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Processing accounts payable and receivable
  • Processing application fee payments
  • Accounting and finance processes
  • Applicant support and communications

Qualifications Sought

  • University degree or college diploma in accounting or bookkeeping and/or
  • Minimum 3 years experience in accounting, bookkeeping or banking

Abilities and Skills for the Ideal Candidate

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain confidential financial information
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and other software programs
  • Sage 300 ERP experience is an asset
  • Must be bondable due to access to cash, cheques and credit card information
  • High level of accuracy/attention to detail required

Hours of Work

  • Monday through Friday, 4.5 days per week (32 hours)
  • Hybrid remote work arrangement is currently not available for this position but may be considered in the future
